TickTheBucket Invites you to Dream
Welcome, Welcome One and All,
This will be our tenth instalment of BucketList knowledge and we aim to bring people together to get informed and inspired for their next big life Bucket List activity. With the incredible words of motivation from Jon Stratford (British Comando) still ringing in our ears we hope you can make it to this one!
Our special guests change every month. Currently, for our April event we have...
Fiona Quinn- In September 2016 Fiona set off from Cornwall to cycle the length of Great Britain, solo and unsupported. The route may be similar to that of a typical Lands End to John O'Groats ride with a few twists and turns added for good measure, but the aim of her journey was not to set a new world record or to get a personal best. Her reason for taking on this adventure is to explore our beautiful country, sharing her passion for the wild and the parallels of a long bike ride with everyday life. We are very excited to hear her Bucket List story and we know she will inspire our own.
Tarran Kent-Hume- Tarran is the first Australian Adventurer kayak down the Amazon river. He enjoys pushing his physical and psychological barriers to a new level with each opportunity to learn a new skill and experience a new culture. He's been at our TickTheBucket Events before and as he's just returned from a new adventure in the Tasmanian jungle, we are excited and privileged to have him back in the hot seat.
Aleks Kashefi- "July 2012, a couch to 5k app got downloaded and the battle begun. It was hard and I hated it. Then something changed and to this day I don't know what it was. The 5k app became 10k, then half marathon and then a full marathon, but before I'd mastered the art of running 20 miles, I entered my first ultra!!" but even after this amazing journey Aleks went on to be the first person to run the length of Europe, in winter and self-supported. He's another awesome Bucket List adventure and a great addition to our May the 4th event. MORE GUEST SPEAKERS TO BE ANNOUNCED.
Previously we had a Burlesque fire eating mademoiselle, Mr Spoonface who told us about his rise to a No.1 U.K single, Peter Penny who returned to tell us about his 'year in the clouds' (climbing the 12 of the tallest peaks in the world in one year) and Aimee Teesdale telling us about her journey from an estate in the North of England to a life as BucketList entrepreneur... Hold onto your seat and buy an edible hat because we are starting 2017 with a bang.
For those of you that came last time, you know the drill, for those of you that are joining for the first time - this is a chance to hear from some of the most inspirational people that walk these here London streets, as well as meet others just like you - ready for their next adventure.
