Forgotten London Walking Tour
- London, SW1A 2TS
- (Exact address will be provided after booking)
With this experience you will discover the hidden and forgotten parts of London!
I'll start the tour at Piccadilly Circus and show you a long forgotten horse block specifically made for a former prime minister, then delve into a darker time and search for the grave belonging to a rather infamous 'nazi' dog...
From here I'll show you the former Titanic ticket office and we'll chat about some of the conspiracy theories surrounding this infamous journey.
At some point we will actually stand in the very centre of London and I'll let you know where some of the more gruesome executions occurred before heading off to look for remnants of our long lost past, including a place where police officers hung their coats in the 19th century and a buried sign for a street which no longer exists.
Then its into Soho. We'll feel some of the flavour and excitement as we wander down a couple of streets on our way to Soho Square where a king and a rather ancient looking building awaits, as well as a heavily disguised WW2 bomb shelter.
Finishing on a bizarre high, we'll end the tour talking about the most unusual disaster in London's history....
Please wear clothes suitable for a walking tour and be prepared for all weather conditions.
Fun London Tours Ltd regularly host dates with Funzing, and there are several other guides who lead the tours, so it won't always be Matt!
Note that they do not accept date requests other than those listed.
