Hi I'm Jude, a professional photographer, teacher & enthusiastic historian and I love to combine both of my passions with guided Photography Walking Tours of London & beyond. ... More Info »
This Funzing Experience:
Cameras ready! Join Jude for a day out exploring London's stunning ancient legal quarter - The Inns of Court. This photowalk around London's Inns of Court is designed for photographers and is filled with memorable photographic & historical experiences, including the opportunity to take luncheon in one of England' finest Medieval Halls along with barristers & Judges.

All levels from beginners to pros are welcome. Just bring your DSLR, mirror-less camera, compact camera or even just your smartphone!

This is no regular walking tour - the group will walk at a much slower pace that allows you to take time to compose & be creative in your photography, assisted with suggestions to encourage you to experiment & observe from unusual perspectives - all this combined with the narrative of a very informative & fun historical walk.

Your host, Jude, is an experienced professional photographer, teacher & guide with a passion for London's history. She will take you away from London's crowds & down a 13th century alley way, where you'll enter another world - the spectacular ancient heartland of The British Legal System.

The Four Inns of Court go back before to a time well before Columbus sailed for the Americas & contain some of England's finest architecture. European centre
to The Knights of The Temple of Crusades & Magna Carta Fame, the 12th century Temple Church modelled on the Church of The Holy Sepulchre - used in the The Da Vinci Code.

You'll also visit & enjoy lunch (additional cost) amongst the barristers & Judges, in one of England's finest Medieval Halls - the very place where Shakespeare was invited to give his first recorded performance of Twelfth Night, in front of Queen Elizabeth 1st in 1602.

The Inns were used for premieres of Shakespeare plays, Charles Dickens worked & described them in his books and Churchill & Roosevelt were among many illustrious members. You may catch barristers & judges strolling through the grounds, providing wonderful photographic opportunities in a part of London many have never visited.

Please bring comfortable walking shoes, (no sandals), smart casual ware as there is a dress code if we are allowed in to dine in one of The Great Halls - if permitted by The hall on that day - and of course - extra camera batteries!! No tripods are permitted! If the Hall is not available for us to lunch in we will enjoy lunch at one of the most characterful & ancient city pubs.
