You'll learn the science behind the nutrition in an understandable way and how it keeps you healthy. We are a start up social enterprise and a future community benefit society that teaches nutrition and cooking classes. Our mission is to get our programme clinically commissioned and prescribed by the NHS/Public Health England.
Farrah is a Food for Life instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She grew up watching her family deal with complications from
prediabetes and type 2 diabetes;because of this, her interest in health
and nutrition grew. She was heading in the same direction -- a genetic
predisposition to impaired glucose regulation -- and decided to take
matters into her own hands. By adopting the Physicians Committee’s’
guidelines for a predominantly low-fat, low-GI, and plant-based diet,
Farrah has reversed her risk of developing type 2 Diabetes and the
myriad of debilitating conditions that accompany it. All of this makes
her feel very humble and extremely grateful for every extra day she is
adding on to her expected life span.
