Meet Rebekah Shaman:
Over the past 19 years I have worked closely with Ayahuasca, Cannabis and Cacao, the ‘feminine’ medicines. Having apprenticed with Ayahuasca and other plant medicines in the Amazon with a traditional, indigenous Shaman in 1998, who called me in a vision while I was working in a hotel at Machu Picchu, I returned to London to complete my training in the urban jungle. My journey took me on a road with many twists and turns working with Hemp, Cacao and Cannabis. I facilitate traditional shamanic Cacao Ceremonies around the world and Ayahuasca retreats in the Peruvian Amazon to help awaken people to their symbiotic relationship with Nature. I am a consultant for a not-for-profit hemp cooperative in England, which grows organic hemp, for seed, seed oil and CBD oil. I am also a speaker and educator about Plant Medicines, their importance for our mental and physical health and wellbeing, and how they are assisting us towards conscious evolution. I also run my own shamanic practise in London.
I have a BA (Hons) in Study of Religions, an MSc in Development Economics, both from SOAS university, and a Post-graduate Psychology Diploma in the Human Givens Approach. I am also the author of the self- published book ‘The Shaman’s Last Apprentice.’
Through my ceremonies, I help the plants bring their messages to each one of us, and make traditional shamanic plant medicine ceremonies accessible for a Western audience and a new generation. Through my experiences with Ayahuasca, Cannabis, Cacao and other master plant medicines I can illuminate and bring wisdom on the importance of contemporary Plant Consciousness, Shamanism, and Ceremony for humanities future survival.
