Meet Nishma:
I am a Kenyan-born Indian, and have lived in London for the last 30 years or so. In 2005, having made the transition to a vegan lifestyle, I launched Shambhu’s, an award-winning London-based vegan food business.
Having been immersed, since childhood, in an environment in which healthy cooking from whole and fresh plant-based ingredients was simply a normal part of the culture, I’m passionate about making tasty and healthy plant-based food. I love drawing from various culinary styles around the world.
Over the last few years, I’ve taught many cookery classes and demonstrations, for both adults and children, showcasing a variety of styles of vegan cuisine.
