I am a craft woodworker based in South Manchester. Over 15 years I have built a reputation for high quality work and an innovative approach to traditional craft. I have been at the forefront of greenwood working and brought introduced several crafts to the UK. Currently I make a range of items including wooden spoons, ash splint baskets and fan bird decorations.
My other passion is scything and I teach hundreds of people how to scythe each summer on courses. I have scythed and made hay for BBC Countryfile, Highgrove Estate, the RHS and Wildlife Trust groups across the UK. I am the author of Learn to Scythe, a practical manual for the scythe.
