Meet Lola Odujinrin:
Lola Odujinrin is the first British African pilot in history to fly solo around the world. He became the 9th British man to have achieved this feat since 1933.
Lola completed his "One Man, One Plane" expedition on March 29th 2017. He landed at Washington Dulles International Airport in the USA, the same airport he departed from in June 2016. What makes Lola’s story remarkable is his life story and journey into becoming a pilot and eventually making his childhood dream a reality. Lola has demonstrated the power of dreams and tenacity.
His success story is as a result of overcoming numerous failures which comes with having huge ambitions. He demonstrated such resolute attributes by refusing to accept defeat for over 10 years in becoming a commercial pilot to despite achieving his first wing as a private pilot at a very young age of 20. Lola hopes to inspire youths into chasing and adhering to their aspirations in the face of adversity.
