Chris Gleave. 40 years in photojournalism. 10 years Daily Express. 10 years MD of Quay Media Press Agency in Manchester. Covering news, sport and features for many national and international newspapers and magazines. 20 years Manchester Evening News with sole responsibility for photographing and travelling with Manchester United.
Chris has been a Photojournalist for 40 years working for National and Regional newspapers photographing many groundbreaking stories and has also been the designated photographer to follow and record Manchester United FC throughout the UK and Europe. He was first and last on the scene of many major stories including serial killer Harold Shipman, Strangeways prison jail riots, Greenpeace protests by Bono at Sellafield nuclear power plant and two Manchester bombings. He has worked closely and one to one with many Royals, politicians and celebrities, including Princess Diana, Tony Blair, Rudolph Nureyev, David Beckham, Richard Branson and Liam Gallagher.
