Welcome to a 2.5 hour pottery workshop where you will learn to make a pinch pot!
Join us at the stunning Art4Space arts centre for a fun, relaxing evening to learn the technique of pinch pots.
In November 2022 we are offering an introduction price £10 cheaper than the normal cost of £45!
A pinch pot is a simple form of hand-made pottery produced from ancient times to the present. The pinching method is used to create pottery that can be ornamental or functional and has been widely employed across cultures. From tea light holders, olive dishes, espresso cups, trinket dishes, and spoons you can choose what functional or decorative piece of pottery you would like to create!
The evening will begin with an introduction to handling clay and its properties.
No experience necessary as the session is beginner-friendly as well for the more advanced participant. Art4Space is a friendly – safe, inclusive space.
