Step back in time to the romance of the Jazz Age at London’s award-winning 1920s-themed speakeasy party, with live jazz, cabaret and cocktails in a secret venue filled with candles, where everyone dresses the part.
Hosting this time will be Weimar vixen Eva Von Schnippisch, evoking the spirit of 1920s Berlin and singing heartrending songs of elegant decadence. There will be shimmering burlesque from the luminous Vicky Butterfly, and live music will come from bawdy bounders Jack Calloway and his Midnight Creepers, a hurricane of hot syncopation and ribald repartée. When the band aren’t playing DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl into the night.
Elsewhere tarot reader Lucius will be on hand to glimpse into your future, Michelle Krausz will be running her vintage jewellery shop, and sketch artist Sophie Williams will be poised to capture you in all your finery.
Our venue will be a historic mansion in south London with its own ballroom. We open at 7pm and close at 1am, and you can come and go freely during this time. You can come just for drinks and dancing but you can also reserve a table with Champagne, or book the three-course dinner. There’s even an inclusive-drinks option. Ticket-holders receive an email two days before revealing the secret location (which is close to a tube station). So pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston…
