Not the 'Bog-Standard' London Experience!
This 1.5 hour walking tour covers iconic London from a new perspective, introducing guests to the history and surprisingly dynamic modern politics of the Public Toilet.
You'll never have felt more British, as you learn about ‘spending a penny' at the Great Exhibition of 1851 and explore London's current most patriotic toilet. The tour ends in the Cellar Door Cocktail bar where guests are invited to linger and enjoy a drink in a former gentleman's lav (with some swanky and surprising facilities of its own!)
Why? You may well ask. Because we think they are awfully interesting! Loo Tours are designed by and for adventurous spirits who want to see the world differently, who love history and off-the-beaten-track adventures and who care about important social issues. Come ready to be surprised by the depths of social and political history contained in the humble toilet, and bring your own stories to share!
Wheelchair and Step Free Access: Our route can be made steps-free. However we recognize there are a range of mobility needs and it's hard for us to say definitely that something will or won't work for any person, so if you have any specific questions please feel free to ask, and we will be happy to discuss our route and any changes that might be necessary to make it a smooth and enjoyable experience for you.
