Meet Joanne Burrows:
Hi There
My name is Jo, and here is a little bit about myself.
I was a co-creator of The Wonder Inn; a ground-breaking creative wellness centre that was in a beautiful grade 2 listed building on Shudehill in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
The vision of The Wonder Inn was to offer healing for the soul through all forms of creativity and celebration of the arts. As well as a cafe/bar area there were many rooms for events and we held a varied programme of activities.
It was a one stop shop for holistic and creative wellbeing in the heart of the City. Sadly we had to close doors on Oct 2017.
I'm currently involved in a few other community projects including a regular music event, 'Music As Medicine' - bringing people through the healing power of music!
My vision is to bring events to Manchester that will inspire & create sparks, that will connect people to each other and to themselves. After all we're all here as explorers!
I really hope you enjoy the events I help bring to Manchester; a lot of is done through collaboration which is the key for us all to grow and expand.
