Hi fellow guitar lovers, my name is Jacob and I've been teaching guitar professionally since I was in my late teens.
Originally from The Hague, The Netherlands, I studied classical guitar at the Royal Conservatory of....The Hague. This provided the opportunity to attend masterclasses with some of the world's finest guitar performers and teachers including Zoran Dukic, Carlo Marchione, Roland Dyens, David Russell.
I also studied philosophy at the University of Utrecht and "Eastern" Philosophy at the University of My House. In my opinion, these additional qualifications and experiences add great value to my approach to teaching and music in general. I have taught many people how to play the guitar including a period of teaching privately in collaboration with the American School in Wassenaar, The Netherlands
