Meet Deyá Ward Niblett:

Deya is a zoologist and currently studying a Masters in Bristol in Wildlife Filmmaking. She has worked on projects as part of her masters in partnership with the BBC. Deya is passionate about science communication - and uses her experience as a focus for her talks in schools across the UK. She is also involved with various groups including Ape Alliance, Action for Conservation and Wilderland Film Festival. Having spent last year working for Dr Birute Galdikas at the Orangutan Foundation International, she is driven to use her public speaking, language skills in Bahasa Indonesia and interests in art and filming, to creatively educate about orangutans and the conservation of their habitat.
