Meet Andrew:

My name is Andrew Hallett and I have been a guide for London Walks for twenty years.  I left drama school in 1994 and worked as an actor for many years appearing in theatre including in the west end, television and film.

When I wasn't working as an actor I worked for London Walks as a guide. I had met my wife Nicky at a repertory theatre in Newcastle Under -Lyme and she introduced me to Mary and David of London Walks in 1997. I loved guiding and history which then inspired me to do an MA in Early Modern History at the London University which I completed in 2012. I now have a repertory of over 25 different walks. They include  Jack the Ripper, Shakespeare and Dickens, Haunted London and many more. 

However, over the years I have also created some unique walks which I have a particular passion for (such as running). London History 5 Km Run's are great example of this and a kind of flagship for me. Whether you are a tourist who wants to experience a new and exciting way of getting to know the city or a local runner who wants to discover beautiful new scenic 5 Km routes, keep fit and learn more about the City this would be great for you.
