Growing up in China, I looked forward to Chinese New Year Eve, because it was dumpling time. My whole family would get together to make dumplings. There was no TV in the background, just the whole family talking, laughing and making the most delicious dumplings to welcome the New Year. I cherished every minute of it. Now that I am away from home, making dumplings is a way for me to connect with my roots. I want to share this beautiful experience of making and sharing food with more people!
