Meet Keiko:
Hi fellow sushi lovers.. I'm Keiko, and I'm a professional sushi instructor, originally from a town called Yokkaichi in Japan. It was not until I lived in Sydney, Australia that I discovered my passion for cooking. After training under a number of famous chefs there, I decided I wanted to do my own thing and share my love of Japanese cuisine and culture with other people.
I wanted to challenge myself and therefore moved to the other side of the world, and I now run sushi and Sake workshops in London.
In Sydney and Tokyo, I was also a Japanese language teacher so if you're studying this tricky language and want someone to practise with, feel free to have a chat with me during the workshop. I will also teach all participants a few important Japanese words.
I really can't wait to show you how to make great sushi rolls, teach you a bit about my home culture and how to drink Japanese Sake.
