Dr Ellis Pecen is a Performance Psychologist who works in training, consultancy and private practice. She holds a PhD in Performance Psychology, an MSc in Performance Science and an MSc in Applied Psychology.
Ellis was formerly a professional performer and worked in music and theatre. She completed a Bachelor in performance as a soloist at the Royal College of Music. She has since worked with organisations and individuals in entertainment, sports, dance, public speaking professions, music, comedy, theatre and education. She has worked with people of all ages and has extensive experience working with children and teenagers as well.
Ellis combines academic research and experience to make performance psychology practical and available to all. Popular training topics have included: dealing with performance anxiety, psychological skills training, productivity, decision-making, communication, staged performance skills, vocal projection, lifestyle change, memorisation, study skills and wellbeing in high performance environments.
