Ellis is a performance consultant, trainer and coach. She holds an MSc in Performance Science and is finalizing a PhD in Performance Psychology. Ellis was a professional performer and worked in entertainment, public speaking, music, stand-up comedy, theatre and education. Ellis works with driven people from all walks of life, including children. She originally trained in rhetoric and one-person theatre, then graduated from the Royal College of Music as a classical performer and taught vocal and instrumental performance. She’s fascinated with human potential and achievement across performance domains but also –crucially- the performance needed in everyday life! Ellis combines academic research and experience to make performance psychology practical and available to all. Ellis works privately with individuals and delivers workshops to organisations and public institutions. She’s worked on areas such as dealing with performance anxiety, training psychological skills, productivity, decision-making, communication, poise, vocal projection, lifestyle changes, … and more. Ellis is also experienced in working with youth and is particularly interested in mentoring with regards to social mobility and performance. She likes dogs, noisy music and powerlifting.
