Corinne Sweet is the author of over bestselling 16 books, including popular psychology (The Mindfulness Journal (Pan Macmillan), ghostwritten lifestory/biography (Thrown Away Child (Simon & Schuster), and social history (Money On't Table: Grit, Work and Family Pride in the Heartlands of England (September). Corinne is a seasoned broadcaster, having spent over six years as a reporter on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour. She also spent three years as a Big Brother Psychologist, and has been an 'agony aunt' on TV and Radio. Corinne still appears regularly on national and regional radio and TV, such as BBC Breakfast (BBC 1).
As a Psychotherapist, Corinne works with individuals and couples at the Barnsbury Therapy Rooms in North London. She is also a screenwriter, dramatist and librettist, and the Chair of the Books Committee of the Writer's Guild of Great Britain. Corinne sings in Highgate Choral Society and enjoys swimming, sailing, walking and gardening. She has one daughter and lives in London as a happily divorced woman.
