Meet Sian Luxford:

Sian's focus is to bring together Botanical Pattern & Herbal Medicine, by replicating the remedies as a design. Her work is strongly influenced by the beauty and delicacy of the Amazon rainforest, bringing attention to the extraordinary flora & fauna it holds. She graduated with a BA in Surface Design from London College of Communication, University of the Arts specialising in textiles, natural dyeing and printing. These designs are mostly on silks or paper, often using natural pigment. From 2013, she's been travelling between the UK & Peru to learn from the diversity of their culture. Sian is also working on three external projects including a collaboration with Kew Gardens.
