Meet Rich:
Fungi have been my passion for over 20 years now, working with them and observing them in many different ways. Forever Fungi is the culmination of many of these aspects, spreading the story of mycology through education and outreach events.
The core ethos of Forever Fungi is always to consider the conservation issues and the human impact on species and our ecosystems. We encourage cultivation as a positive action that can enrich our lives, make us healthier, alleviate pressure on our dwindling habitats and even help us to heal damaged land. All this and they taste great!
I have worked as a tutor and cultivator for 10 years now, also playing a role in the field mycology community. Most recently I have been working on a taxonomic research project in Kew Garden's mycology department and presented my work at the State of World's Fungi Symposium.
