Having spent over 30 years as a specialist teacher of Religious Education and Art I am now a serious Entrepreneur, working in the field of Health, Happiness and Wellbeing.
Like most people I believe in the power of the heart - of love and oneness - and I care about our entire planet. There is much beauty but also much sadness and suffering. It makes me think 'what can I do to make a difference?
In our world today, stress is endemic. So many people struggle with anxiety and depression - and with covid19 and the growing threat of Climate Change, the stress-levels are only likely to rise. Chronic or Toxic Stress harms our physical and mental health - but there are things we can do to protect ourselves. We can learn how to 'surf the stress' and have a lot of fun along the way.
I have been practising mindfulness for over 40 years and have trained to teach it in a fun and creative way. In my unique Mindfulness-Joy Silk-Painting Workshops I share tried and tested strategies for reducing stress, building resilience and increasing happiness. We learn and practise with others who share my love for creativity and care for their own wellbeing and inner transformation as I do.
You don't need to be struggling with stress, depresson or any other 'problem' to enjoy my workshops - but show me anyone who is perfectly happy and full of inner peace all the time!
