Julian Kirby leads the 'Drastic on Plastic' campaign at Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Mostly at Friends of the Earth but with a brief spell in Western Australia, he has spent the last decade and a half working on issues relating to climate change, deforestation, waste and resource use, mining and the controversial gas extraction technique known as 'fracking'. Before that he spent five years working in brain injury rehabilitation and picking up degrees in psychology and marine & freshwater biology.
