Livvy Drake is an experienced Sustainability Consultant working across the waste management landscape from on-the-ground recycling to food waste and plastic reduction initiatives.
Delivering sustainability for Shambala festival, consulting and training other festivals she has spent many hours working on waste systems and working through the greenwash of terms like ‘zero waste to landfill’ and ‘compostable plastics’.
As Green Livvy she hosts an annual online ‘Lent Plastics Challenge’. And as a behaviour change consultant with City to Sea she has worked on reuse campaigns such as Refill working to reduce waste at source by creating a culture change to the plastic water bottle.
Last year Livvy wrote monthly waste articles for Bristol 24/7 looking at everything from fashion to construction waste highlighting the issues and the inspiring local organisations taking action.
