Meet Hannah:
I am a taekwondo coach with a black belt in taekwondo. I started 360 Kick 4 Mental Health in 2019 to provide taekwondo and mindfulness programmes to busy professionals who work under pressure.
As someone who used to work in the corporate environment as a professional accountant, I’m well aware of the harm and negative effects that can arise from stress and overworking. I used to practice taekwondo in my spare time and eventually realised the immense benefits I derived from regular practice.
Taekwondo made me not just physically fit but also mentally resilient and enabled me to deal with day-to-day pressure with ease and grace. In 2018, I started teaching taekwondo and later was inspired to set up my own business to support other busy people to take some time to de-stress and stay active leading optimum fitness.
What sets me apart is that I am not just a one-dimensional coach. I’m also a healer and having studied Reiki Diploma, I practice mindfulness meditation and healing. My focus is not just on exercise, martial arts, or self-defence, but also on mind work and harnessing a positive relationship with your body while learning how to manage stress better. Most of my clients have experienced a beneficial transformation at a physical and mental level. This is what keeps me going – seeing how my clients change their outlook and feel calmer and have a better focus.
