Meet Emily and:

The art bench is a creative platform that lets you have fun while you learn a new artistic skill. We offer a variety of exciting Adult & Kids online workshops.

The art bench was created by us  Emily Welham and Tanyel Mustafa. We  met in 2009 whilst we were teaching art and design in a secondary school, we both have over 20 years of practice between us and are passionate about creating art.

 We are currently striving to become a sustainable, eco- friendly business.

All our aprons and bags are made from biodegradable plastic or organic cotton and our logo is printed using screen printing ink which is formaldehyde free, apeo free, PVC free and heavy metal free.

We use eco friendly acrylic paint which is water based non-toxic, wheat and gluten free. VOC, oil and solvent free. Our drawing paper is made  from recycled paper cups and our canvases are made from recycled wood. 

We still have a long way to go but our company mission is to be completely eco-friendly by the end of 2022.
