Professor Trevor Harley is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Dundee. For many years he was Head of the Department of Psychology and then Dean. He completed his PhD on the psychology of speech production a long, long time ago. He is author of several books on psychology, and has carried out research on consciousness, language, sleep, and dreams. He is now a full time writer and journalist. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He is now a full-time writer and science journalist.
