Zenzie established her textile conservation company, Zenize Tinker Conservation in Brighton the early 2000’s after beginning her conservation career in London. She undertook an apprenticeship under Ksynia Marko in the 1980’s and in 1991 was awarded the Museums Association Certificate in Textile Conservation. Zenzie then worked for more than a decade as a conservator and senior conservator at the Museum of London and the Victoria & Albert Museum specialising in costume. In 2003 she left London to set up her fledgling business in Brighton.
Now with more than 35 years experience in the conservation field, Zenzie leads a large team of textile and paper conservators undertaking a complete range of conservation treatments and display work for historic, modern and contemporary textiles, tapestry and costume for both the public and private sector.
