I became interested in dsw as an 8yr old boy whilst living on the family farm in North East Lancashire. A Dry Stone Waller who visited the farm for gap walling between Easter and October. He used to give me a good telling off, when i was putting the right stones on the wall, but not necessarily in the right place and knocking stones he had already secured !! I am registered with the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain. My training, experience and certification have been essential to promote DSW and meet the requirements of providing excellent 'hands-on' workshops to teach this ancient craft.
