Meet Ryan:
After a successful six-year stint as the Executive Chef and Head Wine Educator of New York Vintners, one of Manhattan's most popular wine destinations, seasoned chef and wine expert Ryan Smith has landed in London for a 15 month residency, using it as a staging ground to travel Europe, stoke his creative flames and continue to do what he loves most - curating epic experiences around food and wine. Chef Ryan holds a Level 3 WSET wine certification and has 16+ years in fine dining in NY and DC.
After months of teaching wine classes in different locations all over London, it finally occurred to Ryan that there is no place he'd rather teach people about wine than in his own Clerkenwell rooftop loft.
His teaching style has always focused on exploring wine in a fun and down to earth way, and hey -- nothing breaks down social barriers like getting drunk with strangers!
Guests at his wine classes can expect 2 hours of fun and interactive wine education in a laid back and friendly environment. And of course, as the name suggests, at some point he'll most likely saber a bottle of bubbly on the roofdeck!
