Joy Space is inspired by a new generation of 'conscious, sober dancers’ as well as those who want to experience meaningful connections made in a safe, fun, loving and uplifting space. Let loose through laughter, play and dancing and find new ways to express your joyful side. Our mission is to show you alternative fun ways for meeting others whilst having fun and boosting your mental, emotional and physical health.
The workshop offers a wonderful eclectic mix of holistic activities that can help you to feel more awake and be more present, to elevate your mood and to induce some serious fun into your life!
What to expect on a day.The workshop will start with the welcoming meditation by Marc. After the meditation, Snow will make a brief introduction into Laughter Yoga, its history and its incredible benefits. We will then move into playful experiential exercises in a group using fabulous exercises from Laughter Yoga. Our second part of the workshop will be dedicated to Ecstatic Dance with amazing music led by Marc. We have also prepared for you a super unique and fun activity called “Disco Mattress “ that will leave you feeling nurtured and nourished. Curious to find out more? Then join us on a day to find out yourself what is behind this bonkers activity! In short, it is a place where people can be acknowledged and feel connection in a deep way that heals them from the current social climate with its limiting conditions. The workshop will end with the grounding meditation led by Marc. Our upbeat energising workshop is guaranteed to warmly touch your heart and expand your consciousness—all of this held in an all-inclusive, non-religious, non-political space.…BOOM!!

Joy Space workshop can also be viewed as a brilliant fun fitness programme. Did you know that during Laughter Yoga not only your heart rate increases but your internal organs are also getting massaged just like during a Yoga class? Laughter Yoga is often called an internal jogging because of that plus the strengthening effect it has on our abs.
At the end, we invite everyone to join us at a local cafe/bar to meet and connect, Joy Space is a great place to meet likeminded people. It’s all about community!
No experience necessary, all are warmly welcome.
With Christmas around the corner you can treat someone to a special present gifting them a unique experience to our workshop in 2019. Or why not to treat someone for their Birthday, Anniversary or other occasion?
Useful info: No need to bring the yoga mats as these will be supplied. Please wear something loose around the waist (to allow the belly laughter to move freely through your body) and comfortable for our Laughter Yoga session. Most of the exercises from Laughter Yoga will be done standing and moving around but we will also include a few games on the yoga mats where you will be invited to sit and to lie down. For those new to Laughter Yoga, there is no need to come in Yoga attire as we won’t be performing any yogic asanas. Laughter Yoga incorporates deep, diaphragmic breathing (Pranayama), this is the only reference to yoga as you know it. Bring layers as you will heat up during the dancing.
